For the Bernard van Leer Foundation (improving opportunities for children worldwide) Redactie & Co is searching for a (near) English native editor with good knowledge of the Spanish language.
Job description
The foundation wants to document their current work and projects. The editor rewrites existing documentation, interviews project leaders and writes short excerpts from the combined material. Some of the source material is in the Spanish language and has to be translated into English. The new documentation is for internal use: learning and portfolio analysis. Subjects are funding, advocacy, partnership development, research etc. The scope of the project is approximately 150 activities across ten geographic regions. The editor will review project-related documents, conducts interviews, supports project management, researches en writes 2 to 3 page documents per activity and files all related files.
Required
Wanted is an editor with excellent research capabilities. A (near) native English speaker who also can write and speak Spanish and/or Portuguese. Strong analytic skills and experienced in interviewing specialists. Good working ethics.
Offered
Offered is a temp job for a minimum of three months, possibly longer. Competitive salary.
