On behalf of an international company Redactie & Co is searching a Content Manager.
He or she will join the global communications organisation and will be responsible for several corporate sites, focussed at the Dutch audience. The new content manager is part of a highly qualified team of web managers and digital production experts. He or she manages and optimises the websites in line with the standards, set by corporate communications. Ensures that sites meet the needs of business, stakeholders and customers. The content manager works closely with content owners to develop ideas and plans. Maintains the quality, promotes standards and ensures that online initiatives comply with standards and policies. Proactively analyses web statistics, gives advice to internal customers, shares online knowledge. He or she provides support to internet publication during crises and emergencies. Troubleshoots, monitors and reports technical problems. Undertakes research and user testing to develop the sites user-focused.
Succesful candidates are fluent in Dutch and English (speaking and writing). They have experience of managing websites for large corporates day-to-day and have a professional communications background, preferably in brand marketing, at degree level. Have strong project management skills and want to overcome challenges. The ideal candidate has a passion for the digital world and knows how to demonstrate and practice this passion. He or she has experience with cms, preferably Adobe CQ5, and a good understanding of social media, usability and SEO. Although the content manager does not undertake IT-activities, a good understanding of IT aspects is preferred.
