For a non-profit impact media foundation Redactie & Co is looking for a senior journalist/ writer (Conscious Capitalism).
Functiebeschrijving
You will help create content relating to Conscious Capitalism and purpose-driven entrepreneurship. Capitalism got us where we are, but it can’t get us to where we need to go – unless we go about it differently. You will be telling the stories of how that is happening. In this role you write, commission, research and pitch stories. Also you find experts to contribute stories and content to curate for the platform. In addition you protect the copy consistency (English) throughout the entire company (online, print, marketing and internal communications). Furthermore you oversee and manage projects related to copywriting, editing, and translating.
Gevraagd
We are looking for an experienced writer/ journalist (native English) with strong reporting skills with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent working/thinking level. Also you have a strong background in finance, investment and business reporting and you are passionate about how businesses can be a force for good in building a more sustainable future. Further you are passionate about storytelling as a powerful tool for change. You get a kick out of using your skills and expertise to drive important conversations forward and boost the impact of others. You are a driving force in the core team of writers and you have impeccable editing skills with an eye for detail. You know the difference between US and UK English. You understand the natural way with words, style, tone, grammar and everything else that goes into ensuring each piece of copy is consistent and captivating. An ability to communicate complex ideas in as few words as possible is required. A strong affinity with working for a charitable organisation and the personal ambition to make an impact, is a definite plus.
Geboden
Full-time position (32-40 hours). Starting asap.
