For a global energy company we are searching an international content manager who is fluent in Arabic - plus near native in English.
Job description
The content manager will me responsible for ten country websites for the regions Africa and the Middle-East. Activities are based mainly in Qatar and Nigeria. He or she is part of a large global team and works with a number of outsourced partners and external agencies on content development, produces reports and analysis. Manages projects throughout the business units. Responsibilities: deliver world class management of digital channels (internet, mobile, apps) that meet the needs of both internal stakeholders and external visitors; advise content owners on digital strategies, communications and digital management; deliver an annual plan and budget; act as expert on digital channels; content curation, website health and performance; manage offshore delivery, including prioritization; establish en ensure workflow procedures; carry out site audits and develop site plans; measurement and analysis; share knowledge.
Required
Successful candidates are fluent in Arabic plus are near native in English. They will have experience in and understanding of working with local cultures in (at least one of) the countries mentioned. Have a relevant university degree, preferably in communications. Are expert in digital communications, have experience in a comparable job as international content manager. Are passionate about digital channels, including management, usability, accessibility, seo and measurement. The ideal candidate has earlier experience within a large, multinational operating company with complex decision making processes. Indepth knowledge of IT-issues is not required, but understanding of the IT-aspects is desirable.
