Job description
He or she will play a key role in positioning the company's leading technological expertise to external stakeholders. Takes on an advisory role towards senior board members regarding marcom possibilities that surface from the department’s activities.
Directs the strategy, issues and means of communication to existing markets, and generates interest from new markets by foreseeing synergy possibilities.
He or she oversees media relations and pr, initiates conferences, trade shows and events and guards the tone of voice of strategically vital technological communication like speeches and presentations by senior leadership. Manages the communications department and coordinates the strategy with the head office.
Required
The candidate I'm looking for has a university degree, preferably in a technical discipline, and at least five years working experience in a senior communications position.
The ideal candidate has a broad understanding of energy related issues, knowledge of communication processes in large stock quoted companies and a strategic vision on corporate communications. He or she is a professional team worker with strong personal communication skills.
He or she is able to translate complex technological projects and developments into accessible communications. An international frame of mind, excellent mastering of English in speech and writing and a highly professional attitude are other required skills.
